Biog 2022:

Geoff Hemsley: Drums and Music.

 

Since 1997 I have been the drummer behind ‘Geno Washington and the Ram Jam Band’ including his Blues groups, 'The Purple Aces', 'The Blues Question' and currently 'The YoYos'.

 

I have performed with Geno all over the world and played drums for classic soul & blues artist, Eddie Floyd, PP Arnold, Jimmy James, Zoot Money and Pauline Black. 

I still perform today with Geno.

 

I have recorded most of the drums on his recordings since 1997 and most recently the live album 'Its Geno Time':

In between Geno's schedule I work independently. I have my own studio and record remotely for artists and producers..

I play Gretsch, Ludwig and Spaun drums, Zildjian, Ufip and Sabian cymbals.
